‘Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.’ Abraham Lincoln The Gettysburg Address, 1863

I often wonder what some of our past leaders and founding fathers would think of our country’s current state. My perception is that they would be proud of a lot of things, yet troubled at the same time, much like myself. And I’ll just leave it at that.

This photo is actually a replica of the statue of liberty in Las Vegas at the New York hotel and casino. It was not cropped or rotated, taken from the backseat of a cab as we drove by.
