The summers in Houston are hot. Seriously hot. And humid. What seemed to be a gathering storm pushed its way into the area after I had made it home from work one day. It was a welcome sight, since it has been an extremely dry summer thus far. Right above me the two sides seemed to battle, the darkness trying to push away the light with a swift attack. I thought that a storm would be imminent as the winds picked up and a subtle mist began to fall, but then the light side began to rally and fight back. After a closely pitched battle, the light was victorious. The darkness retreated and the rains stayed away for another day.
